What happens after I submit my application?
You will get a determination letter. If you are eligible, you will be notified if you are placed on the waiting list. The average wait can be up to year and a half, depending on your needs. You can call the Waiting List Answer Line 24 hours a day at (505) 764-3989 to find out where you are placed in line. Be sure to have your Social Security number when you call.
